This ride begins in darkness and returns by noon.
Not because we’re in a hurry, but because the ghats reveal their best self only in the early hours.

We’ll move out while Pune is still yawning, heading straight into the Western Ghats as the sky slowly changes colour and the air turns sharp and clean. The first few kilometres will be silent ones — engines humming low, headlights carving tunnels through mist, thoughts settling into rhythm with the road.

Then the curves begin.

Long, patient bends. Sudden climbs. Descents that teach control. Forest stretches where your visor fogs slightly and you slow down without meaning to. We won’t chase distance. We won’t chase average speeds. We’ll chase that rare state where body, machine, and road agree with each other.

There will be chai at small roadside stalls that don’t even have names yet at that hour. There will be viewpoints discovered accidentally. There will be stretches where nobody speaks, because riding itself becomes the conversation.

By the time the sun is high and the city wakes up properly, we’ll already be turning back. Dust on the bikes. Calm in the chest. A quiet satisfaction that no meeting can give.

We’ll roll back into Pune by 12:00 PM —
just in time for lunch, responsibilities, and the strange comfort of knowing you lived an entire story before most people finished sleeping.
